Meet Your Teacher:
Laurene Bissell
I began my Pilates journey in 2009 as a student and graduated to teacher in 2016. I studied with Body Arts and Science International education program and did my comprehensive training with Master Pilates Instructor Sue Huntley at the Shape Shop in Hotchkiss, CO.
Since 2021 I have been studying and working with Shari Berkowitz of the Vertical Workshop. I have completed several of her workshops and completed The Vertical Workshop Pilates Teacher Training Mat Seminar June 2022. I am now enrolled in the comprehensive continuing education program for teachers, Pilates Teacher Intensives.
I love working with clients of all ages & levels
My goal is helping each client reach their unique goals and enjoy life to the fullest. I believe true health is measure by our physical, mental, and emotional symptoms and that practicing Pilates on a regular basis can improve our lives in many ways.
When I’m not practicing Pilates, I enjoy camping with my husband and fur babies, hiking, biking, and swimming.
